Happy New Year everyone!
We are back into the swing of things in Year 2 and ready for a new term of learning.
In Key Stage One we have started a short topic called Twisted Tales. We are focussing on a traditional tale that has been fractured!
Year 2 are looking at The True Story of The Three Little Pigs. It has been told from the Wolf’s point of view.
To kick start this topic we studied the book. We looked at the front cover and read the first few pages. Then we discussed what we could see, what we thought and what we wondered. Our questions for ‘I wonder’ were terrific. We collected our ideas in a class chart.
After we recorded our ideas we read the rest of the story. It turns out the whole thing was just an accident! Who do you believe? The Wolf or The Pigs?
